Executive Director – Nichole Mitcham
Nichole has been working in senior living since 2006 with the bulk of her experience in sales and operations. She has an undergraduate degree in Human Services and a master’s degree in Healthcare Management. Having spent much of her childhood with grandparents and other senior family members Nichole has a strong connection with the senior population and thoroughly enjoys working in senior living. “Being able to learn resident’s life stories, meet their families and feel like an extended part of their family is the best part of my job”.
Community Relations Manager – Julie Barancho
Julie Barancho began her career at Stonecrest of McCandless in June 2018. She truly enjoys meeting with families as they are starting their search for the right personal care & memory care community. Julie takes pride in explaining all the wonderful services and amenities offered at Stonecrest of McCandless. She can especially relate to those whose loved ones suffer from Alzheimer’s or Dementia’s, as she has lost a parent from the disease.
Julie received her Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Health Sciences from California State University, Hayward in 1985 and has been in Sales & Marketing within the healthcare industry ever since.
Julie was born and raised in Detroit and has lived in California and Pittsburgh. She raised 2 grown sons and loves being outdoors. She also likes going on walks, attending social events and watching football. "Go Steelers!"
Move-In Coordinator – Hope Abel
Hope came to Stonecrest of McCandless with 17 years of experience in various aspects of senior care. She has additional experience in sales & marketing, event planning and a strong customer service background. She also spent many years assisting her grandmother and parents, offering care and support through their struggles with declining health and dementia. Hope combines the skills that she has acquired professionally and the empathy she has gained, through her experiences caring for her own family, to build relationships and offer piece of mind to families and support to our residents as they transition to their new home
Clinical Services Director – Rhyssa Miller
Rhyssa is the Clinical Services Director and has been a licensed nurse for 23 years. She has spent her entire nursing career in geriatrics and long term care communities, specifically in management roles for the last 15 years. Rhyssa is committed to providing seniors compassionate and quality care, always living by the principle “Do the right thing , even if it is not the easy thing”. Rhyssa has 3 adult children and moved to Pittsburgh 19 years ago from Syracuse, New York.
Kerry Bush – Maintenance Director
Kerry has 25 years of management experience in the healthcare field. He has worked in various personal care settings as well as major hospitals in the area. He attended Penn State School of Technology and has completed many additional training courses to assist him in his field. He has lived in the Pittsburgh region all his life. He married his childhood sweetheart and they raised two beautiful children.
